The article "Judge denies right to resell iTunes songs, digital media still protected under copyright laws" was about the copyright of reselling of iTunes songs with the redigi which is  way to buy digital used music.  People are able to sell there songs to other people that want to buy the songs it was ruled against because of the unauthorized transfer of the digital music which is illegal under what is the copyright act.  I think that it is bad to steal songs for the internet but with it being online people are going to go to those sites and find the music they want and download it.  If laws are saying that it can not be done and that some people go to jail for it why is it so easy to find what we want online for free when it is copyrighted.  I think that it should not be available on the internet if it is something that is illegal to do and there should be warning and ways to know about it because someone is downloading without the knowledge of what they are doing.

Privacy and Security

The problem with privacy on the internet is that once it in online anyone can see it.  With facebook they have privacy setting that have the right to let just your friends see it but sometimes it gets confusing as in the article that is "Facebook Privacy Is So Confusing Even the Zuckerberg Family Photo Isn't Private."  When having the internet there are people out there are a cat-fishing which is when someone has a fake social network account and they sometimes use random people pictures which I find really scary.  Just the fact of knowing that someone could be falling in love with a random person that is using my face and pictures scares me.

Twitter

I like how twitter works it is nice and easy to communication with the others in the classroom.  Out of the blackboard twitter and blog I like the blogger the best because i am able to write as much as i like.  I am following bands and people that i like to listen too and i am also following Joh Stewart because i find he show good.  They post things about there shows and what they are doing in life.

Social Media

What i feel is social media is that it is a way to talk to your friends and meet new people using the internet to interact with others. The article with the professor who encouraged students to pass notes during class with using twitter I feel would be a great thing because like most people i also do not feel good when speaking up in class.

A virtual world is like a game where you are able to be a new person.  There are some people that can not move there limbs and are unable to do anything but blink there eyes and with the second life game there is a way for them to have an out.  I have played a lot of rpg games and it is a nice way to forget about the madness of life and be able to have a fun time.

World Wide Web

The future of the World Wide Web is going to be more of just a social network, with people wanted to have friends online. They are improving the internet with going on the sites and not getting a virus and there are a lot of safe sites. But I just feel they there are a lot of people and the future there will be a lot more and they will want to talk on the social networks. There is even an online dating sites that people use in order to get connected to new single people.  There are games online that people play so it is harder to find people and children outside because a lot of them just decided to play online games.  With facebook have the connects to all types of people from all over the world people are just using the web for communication. The Cloud is a computing strategy, that are like a services that is delivered over the internet.  In the city of Chicago they have moved employees to the new Microsoft office 365 for new cloud based emails.  They say that in the long run it will help save money this information is from the article The Windy City Teams with Microsoft on Cloud Strategy.

Networks and Communication

The advantages that there are with the communication through tech. is that when talking to people you are able to get a faster response to the message, when having to email a teacher it can be helpful if you have a question on the homework without having to wait for the next class day.  When you have people that are in the military it is nice to have Skype and be able to talk to your loved ones and still be able to see them even though they are so far away.  The disadvantages is that is can be very distracting to people like in the article Texting Woman falls in fountain, files lawsuit she was in the middle of texting and not watching where she walked and walked into a fountain.  

When people are texting and driving it can cause accidents and people have died because of that, there are commercials that have people saying what there last friends message was while they were driving and how it killed them.  people need to just focus on driving there is a time and place to text and driving is not one of them, the people that they are talking to can wait until they are done driving, but if it is really important the person driving should pull the car over and stop driving and talk to the person so that they do not cause a car accident.

Intro of Manana

Hi I am Amanda I have decided to have a new major as of last semester I was first going to major in Anthropology and i wanted to work in the forensics with helping i.d dead bodies like in the show bones.  But after last year i saw that i did not really like the subject and it was really hard to remember all the names and spelling of the bones, so i am going to change it to computer science and i would like to b a programmer.  As of now i do not really know a lot about programming or how to do it at all but i fell with time and work i will be able to do it. In my house whenever there is a Internet problem i am able to fix the problem.  I am also a gamer and i like reading and watching anime.  I have a hard time at school because I have a  learning disability which makes it a bit hard to study and pay attention but it has never stopped me from reaching my goals and i just have to work twice as hard as everybody else that it comes more nature to.  I have a nickname of Manana and I have a nephew and am getting a niece in about a month so happy for that :) and we want them to call me Auntie Manana hopefully they will say it. I have a boyfriend and we have been together for over 4 years and are high school sweethearts hopefully by the end of the year we will be living together or get our own place together which would be awesome.
